This was the day the procession moved down Given Terrace toward Fernberg Road, as Archbishop Duhig came to bless the new Marist Brothers’ Monastery and the Sisters of Mercy school.
The crowd filled the road, parishioners, clergy, children and religious orders, all part of a moment that marked the establishment of the Marist Brothers in Queensland.
